Barren Tree

Standing tall, a leafless tree,
Bare branches reaching towards the sky,
A symbol of strength and resilience,
Even when its leaves have said goodbye.

Once adorned in shades of green,
A canopy that provided shade,
Now stripped down to its skeleton,
In winter's grasp, it must abide.

But even in its barren state,
This tree holds a certain beauty,
A starkness that is quite unique,
A kind of elegance that's moody.

For every season has its turn,
To flourish and to fade away,
And just like this leafless tree,
We too must bear the changes of each day.

So let us learn from this tree,
To stand firm in times of trial,
And trust that just like every leaf,
Our strength will return with time and style.
