Anybody can write
a poem but only
a few poets can
make it speak, and
it is in the shelter
of this hope I live.
I am a poet
but I don't write poems
poetry writes me.
It squeezes my soul
and bestows
the pen of peace
with the ink of my core
and fosters my consciousness
with the beauty
of nature
and the compassion
of civilization
and liberates it
from the
optical delusion
of revulsion
and the ugly
fa'ade
of materialism.
