Without a doubt,

Sitting on its nest,

Day in, day out,

Is an extreme test

The goose is going thru,

So a reward is due:

A generation that's new

Will soon come into view.

According to Google, Mother goose shall be sitting on its nest for 28-35 days! It will not eat, as the presence of food might attract predators.

This poem is a tribute to, and an excellent example of the devotion, sacrifice and dedication of all motherhood....great photo as well.
