Where Are You Today?

Walking on a beach

And trying to reach

My mother on Mother's Day

But don't know the way.

You left me one day

And went far away;

Where are you today?

To you I pray.

May God continue to

Look after you—

Keep you under His care,

That's my prayer. 

Someday we'll meet

And you I'll greet

With such a big smile

I haven't shown in a while.

We will talk and talk

And together we'll walk—

You holding my hand

In some distant land.
