I woke up today, feeling kind of blue
I didn't know what to do, or who to turn to
I tried watching TV, but nothing seemed right
I needed something fun, to brighten up my sight
I tried calling my friends, but they were all busy
I tried playing some games, but they were all dizzy
I tried going outside, but the weather was bad
I needed something funny, to make me feel glad
But then I remembered, a funny song I heard
It made me laugh so hard, I couldn't say a word
I played it again, and started to sing
And before I knew it, I was dancing like a king
I found my laugh, I found my smile
I found something to make me feel worthwhile
I found a joke, I found a pun
I found something to make me feel young
So if you're feeling down, and don't know what to do
Just listen to a song, and let it carry you
It'll make you feel better, it'll make you feel free
And before you know it, you'll be happy as can be! |
