This solitary hill holds a dear green valley,
And hedges guard, restricting distant view,
Yet as I sit, imagining takes place,
Expanding realms beyond, vast and new.
Infinite spaces, silence profound,
My heart flutters with an edge of fear,
Wind whispers through, a contrasting sound,
Eternity's grip draws eerily near.
Remembering seasons, present, past,
Life's fleeting echo, a whispering blast,
Within this vast expanse, thoughts drown,
Sweet is the shipwreck in this sea unbound. |
