Ideals

Whether we realize it or not 

Everyone has some ideals 

We never spelled it out 

Many times in the open

But still, we carry them with us

We have to deal with those

Who go against our ideals

Be it a son or daughter

Or friend or parents

All we do are compromises

To keep us going

But burning the ideals

At the altar of life!
