Isn't it strange

We lose track of people

Who we are thick with

For a long time?

But then

Other than relatives

We usually accidentally meet people

In work

Or through social intercourse

And only once in a while

We become so thick 

That days become incomplete

Without being twosome

For days and days

Maybe months and months

And sometimes years.

Then suddenly the boat of togetherness

Drifts away.

Who can tell 

Such people will meet again

Or not?

Imagine

If the meeting does take place

What will the prospects be!
