The train is coming
And he too is with the hum & whistle
The train is now at the station
But the latecomer still at the counter
Trying to cover up
Going through all that hastily, in a great huff,
Taking the ticket, hearing the sound,
Going up the stairs and down
To board the train yet to move,
Getting sympathies of the passengers
Getting down from the train,
Fearing to fall upon passengers climbing,
And with the flight of steps, coming down
The stairs in speed as he often does….
Sometimes gets into, sometimes misses
Unable to board and catch the train,
Sometimes after seeing him running,
The guard flags late so that he may get into
The train just started.
