You are small in measure,
but sing so sweet and so lovely,
you inspire all by your treasure.
You are tiny, as a wonder
you grow gigantic to be comely,
you are a model splendor.
You look a line in the dark
but attract all by splendid light,
you are after all for a spark.
You have no tools to cut,
but cut the wood by the beak,
like a squirrel to break a nut.
It is nothing but the magic
of nature in its stature
all never discovered by logic. |
