I am happy that what I have is enough
The quiet joys, the gentle laugh.
Life around me unfolds a story bright,
No need for more, glad to travel light.
The path is mine, no race to win,
Each moment savored, there is nowhere to begin.
In whispered winds and twilight's glow,
I find my peace in the ebb and flow.
I am happy that what I have is enough
The quiet joys, the gentle laugh.
No desire of distant shores to call out my name,
For joy is here, to be just a gentle flame.
With every turn, a treasure found,
In simple ways, my heart is bound.
I am happy that what I have is enough
The quiet joys, the gentle laugh
I wander freely, I wander light,
Joy of gazing at moon and stars at night,
With no destination, happy just with the journey I embrace,
Relishing the beauty on the way in this sacred space.
I am happy that what I have is enough
The quiet joys, the gentle laugh
So here I stand, reasonably content and free,
Grateful for all that has come to be,
For in this journey, I’ve learned to say:
I’m joyful, just to be living as it comes, each day.
