Multicoloured butterflies were flying
In my rose garden while I was walking
It was pleasant to watch them flying
In a group resembling ballet dancing
Some of them were sitting
On the petals of the roses sucking
Nectar and little ones among them resting
With the wings erect on blooming
Roses, a cat sitting
On the wall was watching the
Group of butterflies dancing
Suddenly the cat jumped and was trying
To catch one of the little butterflies resting.
Sensing danger, senior butterflies stopped dancing
Alerted others to start flying
Including the little ones resting.
All of them started flying
The cat also started running
With the hope of catching
At least one of them by stretching
Its head found its efforts failing
Butterflies started circling
Over the head of the cat and teasing
As if to say:
“We are not fools to be caught by you.”
