One pleasant morning I was sitting
In my verandah and sipping
Coffee and admiring
The different colours of flowers blooming
In my garden, the water fountain started spraying,
After having coffee, I started strolling
Around the pond, enjoying
The sight of colourful fishes moving
In the pond. I heard some birds chirping,
To my surprise I noticed a peacock was majestically walking.
I felt my presence may force the peacock to start escaping
I went back to the verandah, sitting
In a chair, I observed the Peacock was going
Around the pond and looking into the pond, fishes swimming,
Then the water from the fountain falling
On its body, it appeared to be enjoying.
In the meantime, the birds from the trees were chirping
This inspired the peacock to start dancing
Some tiny birds appeared from somewhere hopping
Near the peacock which was dancing.
It was a rare sight to see when the forests are disappearing.
