I happened to see birds and animals in their natural surroundings
A group of rabbits by the side of a lake were briskly hopping
Suddenly they stopped and they were waiting
For their younger ones who were not keeping
Pace with them to join them in their hopping
Once they came near the elders, the younger ones started moving
Ahead of the elders, thinking they were overtaking.
Then the elders started following
At the same pace the younger ones were hopping.
On the other side of a lake, a group of swans were sauntering,
Their younger ones were following,
Suddenly the elder ones started flying
Then landed on the ground and kept waiting
But the younger ones jumped into the lake and started gliding
Hoping to overtake their elders at the point they were waiting
Once the youngsters reached them where they were standing
The elder swans too jumped into the lake and started gliding
With them, the skin colour of the swans and rabbits appearing
Similar, showing common affection for their offspring. |
