I saw a salesgirl at a supermarket arranging
Mangoes on the shelf for attracting
Prospective customers’ attention for buying.
Meanwhile, the supervisor came near her and said: You are taking
Too much time in this activity as if you are growing
These mangoes in your garden. The girl responded: my teacher is always saying
Whatever activity is assigned, one should take an interest in doing it
With passion, I am sure many customers will be buying
These mangoes because of the way I am displaying
Then I will complete the other activities before leaving
For my school and then the supervisor left the place without uttering
A word. In another incident a little girl’s remarks she was making
At a temple where people were haphazardly moving
It was because of their behaviour the little girl was finding it hard
To look at the deity then she said: my teacher is always saying
To form a queue and move one behind the other so that everyone gets
A chance to see the deity for worshipping.
In both incidents the girls were remembering
Their teachers' advice with pride and following. |
