Dawn of Life

At the early dawn of life
if the tender roots find stony ground,
the first buds are torn apart,
and flowers touched by frost
the tale of such poor hearts
an angel who garners the sighs
relaxes the fibers and begets the fear
so deep and lasting are the impressions
seep deep the mysterious depths of heart
the heaven of youth
the blooming garden of desire
is trampled with grisly dread
perceiving innumerable songs of woe.
