You look to me with despair in your eyes Worries and fears crease your weary face You look to me for salvation, but I shall not grant For the answer is nowhere else but in your heart
When you chose to be born on this Earth You were certain you would accomplish the reason for your birth As the days went by and you slowly slipped away Into the shadowy pleasures that are holding you a-sway You forgot who you really are, what you really are You brush away the thoughts that rise Telling you that you are as immortal as the breeze When the brain is dead, the lights go off in your head Not the light in your heart; for it glows on, even after your body is dead
Now when the time has come for you to return to me You dread and fear, and beg and plead saying there’s more for you to see You trade the diamond of immortality, for these glitter coated beads of glass So come back to me my child, realize who you are For there is only but one place, that can keep you from misery a-far The six senses were just illusory; they never were the ties that bind So strongly, it’s just all in the mind Let go my child, come floating back to me
Your relatives and friends that you have known to be Just so full of themselves, with nothing but hypocrisy and jealousy The few who were true were those that I had placed near you They were angels who were helping you, to see you through Nothing in my entire creation is bad; all these are but perceived They harm and kill but all to what each soul set out to achieve So then should murderers and thieves and charlatans be left unpunished? But just what can you punish? Just the body, not the mind and not the soul
For until the soul is not healed, evil doings will spout forth The restless soul in search of peace continue to manifest as a body or a ghost Reach out to me my children, for although salvation I shan’t grant I will show you the way to the fountainhead of all knowledge that is deep in your heart For love is the answer, love is the key, love for all, that’s the truth, from eternity Give love and get love, sow hatred and reap hatred and it’s not me That punishes you; it’s but you and your deeds For when you look to me for salvation, I shall not grant For the answer is nowhere else, but in your heart
