Who is this being that I did find,
Stirring the pool, causing ripples in my mind.
Thoughts float to the surface, words begin to form,
Scattered helter-skelter, churning and deformed.
I then sift through the process, and let my heart dictate,
The words make so much racket, they flow through to create.
I try to recapture thoughts that come through,
I sink down to the bottom, murky waters I review,
But deep within my soul, I do find another me,
I see the light before me, a mirror I do see.
Your support gives me courage, to make a thought appear,
The story slowly forming the one that was placed there.
Floating from a fantasy, the melody so pure,
I take it in and let it be, I still remain obscure,
To do what I choose, the suffering I endure,
To create a poem of grandeur.
