Slowly and steadily as the morning hours crawled by I continued on my journey with a heavy sigh... After a little while, I felt I'd walked a thousand miles... Thought why not rest, just take a break After all it was for my own sake So I decided to stop under a tree When suddenly I was confronted with a little bee! Told it 'shoo-shoo' but it continued to dance Putting me in a silly trance... Told it, "You better go, This is your last chance Coz if you don't, I'll blow you off to Mars!" "Oh No dear sir, don't blow me away, I've come all the way from Paraguay! All I want is to make a little honey, Don't stare as though I'll steal your money!" My feet were aching, My brow was full of sweat So I just said, "Get lost, you naughty pest!" The poor little bee, As small as a pea Flew away, With all its zest!
