Occupy the soft cushion
In the vastness of heart
O mind, where
Effulgence hangs like chandeliers
From the roof of space,
And the clock of eternity
Ticks on the unseen walls
The light is your own
No sun or the moon
Nor even stars illumine
But for your effulgence
That, O mind, you lend willingly
And they borrow!
Even the sky is not the limit
For you to soar high
On the wings of silence
Listening to the primordial Word
That is with God
Nay, that is God!
