Theme: Tales

Crow's Thirst

A thirsty crow flying
In the scorching sun
Wanted some water
Said, 'Caw Caw' (I want water! water!)
As he couldn't stay mum.

He lost hope
Of finding water
And thought with thirst
He would have to cope.

At last found a pitcher
After searching water everywhere
Thought someone had left it
Without any care.

He peeped in the pitcher
The water was less
Pitcher had no lid
In a pit it hid

He thought of a plan
When saw some pebbles beside
Water raised to the brim
As he put pebbles inside

He gulped the water
And quenched his thirst
He called all the crows
But himself drank first.
