Unseeing eyes, unfeeling limbs
And a heart-full of scorn and pride
This was what I had one day in modernity
Was it a dream? Was I in it?
What could I do?
All round me was a void
A deep, dark void
Engulfing me in its loneliness
And sapping my spirits
Leaving me lost and unmoored'
All of a sudden
His hand came out
And clasped mine in his
Squeezing it tightly
And seeming to say
Sometimes a hand does it all
A hand speaks when nothing else does
A hand comforts you
A hand strengthens you
And you falter not'..
And since you need one now
A good strong hand
Take mine-it is yours
Clasp it to your chest and leave it not
My hand speaks the language of my heart
And my heart longs for your hand ' a hand for life!
