Rocking winds Tumultuous Thrust me indoors Unchaining the forgotten On my lap I clutch my childhood peer Those, Torn robes of tantrums Knotted braids of togetherness Those stiff legs which Once twirled for me. And now The 'lifeless' gazes at me With mangled eyes of apathy Guilt crawls in From the cobwebs of time But, The mocking chimes Outstrip the 'maudlin' And, My lost companion hangs on the wall As nothing but a lifeless doll.
