“What are you doing tomorrow?”, I said.
Maybe you sensed what was going on in my head,
So you were looking away from me.
My mind was as blank as it could be.
“I have a morning job”, you said;
by now all my presence was fled,
I felt a little strange at the fact that you were not looking at me.
And maybe you were too surprised at this sudden anomaly
of behavioral pattern between us that had brewed.
“And I have this second job”, you continued
“from six to twelve”; and I, still not easy,
heard me say “You will be busy!”
in a kind of mumbled way
and saw me quietly walk away.
