The days have now gone from fight to forgetting. I walked into school to see not the laughter and the open ended conversations but the stories, tears and blank stares. The halls were quiet, no jokes, no laughs just morning. I wasn't good friends with any of the lost three but my prayers are familiar with them. There will be no more football seasons, joy rides, or love, but there will always be memories. A snow day isn't just another snow day today. Tonight the focus at church will change to the three. No one will ever forget what has happened. As it gets warmer and the tracks from the accident melt away, the tracks on our heart will always be there.
