You are the nest and the sky in one.
In the nest there is your deep love
That embraces this spellbound life
From all sides all the while
In myriad colours
In many scents and songs.
There the dawn on a golden plate
Held in her right hand
Brings a beautiful garland
Silently to adorn the earth;
And the evening comes
Across the lonely darkening fields
With a golden spraying can
Filled with peace
From the western seas.
Where you are the sky
There our soul
Finds endless space to roam
There you have no dye
Nor are there any day or night
There you are alone
Devoid of all - colour, scent and sound.
