Traversing the desert of Life
With emotions charred, and
Heart writhing in the spasmodic horrors
Of loneliness,
The doomed traveler plunged
From mirage to disillusioning mirage.
Frustrated
He drained the guerba of deathless pain
And despairing
Sank down to die at the edge
Of an OASIS
