To think of the truths that I once did know
And the hopes and dreams that I once did grow
To think that I might have lost them somewhere
And to feel consoled that they might still be there
To think of the bounties I once did feel
And now the realization that they might not be real
To think of the love that my heart did hold
And changed and altered is now its mould.
To think of the intensity that was in my poetry
That today is just a shadow like me.
