I dreamt again of walking in the desert Wide and wild expanse resembled The vacuum in my heart. The enticing sand-waves invited Me to share a secret with them. I heard the moaning desert And felt it was imitating me I stooped and took some sand Whispered my secret in its ears Kept it close to my heart. But it burnt my bosom Bleeding heart overflowed And set the desert on fire. Burning in the flames, I ran at the full pace. Screeching laughter followed I was again deceived I could not guess the fiend.
