If the Almighty in Infinite Perfection
has given us a world with rough edges
that yet assume the perfection
of line and sphere in perception,
it is surely a work of Divine charity.
So we as creatures mark perfection
in our works, and scorn the imperfection
of rough edges some deeds display;
yet, in the light of charity these assume
the perfection of Divine mainstay.
