The pen moved haltingly across the page Just like an unwilling dog dragged on a leash The words too resembled sporadic angry barks Yet the writer continued to wield his weapon Against the tainted masters of the political universe He also stood by his single minded determination To see the words in print for wider circulation But there were no real takers among newspapers That prefer to focus on the movers and shakers Ignoring the ranting of the social and political baiters But that did not in the least deter our protagonist He turned to alternate effective forms of media And soon decided to tweet on the popular Twitter He scrapped his earlier ramblings opting for concision This time the pen moved with more deft strokes Like a hunting dog running in search of its prey The result was a strongly worded punch on the nose To the errant do-gooders and sinning politicians
