Schools where we studied razed down,
Temples where we worshipped brought to ashes;
Gardens we played became a graveyard,
Indians witnessed indians killed,
Generations buried alive in war,
Innocent civilians tortured and killed;
World just kept as spectators but mourned,
Blood soaked sand expresses no words.
no butterfly sits on skulls scattered over,
Tamils were the target for extinction;
No solace seemed imminent but imperative,
Realm of peace not breezy but crazy...
Sri lanka tranformed slaughter lanka.
