A secular country we are.
The truth is a bit too far.
The land is ours.
But today bears brutal scars.
Talking of equality,
Remains only a technicality.
We decided, they would decide.
But behind parameters they hide.
Deciding our lives way,
Cost human lives it may.
Dividing man and man,
Doing all they can.
Concerned of their position only.
Thinking of their profits solely.
The power we had.
Remains on paper 'tis sad.
The power to give and take power.
Abandoned like a withered flower.
