Love Needs Care

Love is like a gentle sapling that grows in one's heart,
It needs a little care and nourishing to let its life start.

Love needs just a bit of time and regular care,
And it starts withering if one has no time to spare.

It asks not, it complains not, it screams not,
Just starts dying bit by bit and then it begins to rot.

When tended on time, there is still a chance to keep it alive,
Otherwise, just find the ruins and realize that it was too late to arrive.
