Must Detach

A shout
full of sad rage
escapes from my chest
facing the sea
undulating
towards the sky. 

Chaotic forces
curved destiny,
anguish tied to my body,
tremulous shadows
of dreams ran
through my eyes. 

Memories dissolving
with sea spray.
Inner confusion
between deep love
to you all,
passion for life
while facing
inevitable
detachment. 

My wet soul
is tired,
shaking
strong roots. 

Slowly
you are all
so far, far away,
fading
into unending shores
of light.
