I was taken to a magic realm
So many years ago
A Unicorn I met once
Had me in its tow
I was drawn to it
As though in a trance
He looked at me inviting me
To join him in a dance
He charmed me with his magic
He charmed me with delight
He spoke to me in whispers
I followed him through the night
I wouldn't stop for anything
But he said that he must leave
So that my spirit would return to
what destiny predicts
I never stopped remembering
The beauteous dream
I wonder what became of him
Conjured by my whim
I hear him whisper in solitude
Delighted to envision him
I long for his return
If only in my dreams.
