The twinkling star in the sky
*twinkles* and says to me:
You’ve loved so many people
In your life. Do you love me?
I say,
To the twinkling star
In the sky:
Long after
I’ve lived and loved…
When I die,
I’ll come hovering to you,
And ask you:
Do you remember me?!
If not, don’t forget
The many nights,
When you *twinkled* in the sky
And made me want to live…
When all I wanted, was to die.
How your sweetness made me
Smile :) and made my tears dry.
Whenever I felt low,
I just had to look out of the window,
You uplifted me high -
And made my spirits fly!
So my friend, now I’ve left behind
My loved ones to be with you…
My soul shining through you,
To say: Yes, you are the one
Who loved me all through,
So why shouldn’t I ?!
Friends are forever,
They always live together
Even after they die,
They never say goodbye!
It doesn't look like a poem.... It looks like my experiences have been given a form Since childhood...there were numerous occasions when I kept talking to them for hours.... Very near to my life.... I too keep pleading, like the author..."please do not forget and remember me my friend..." addressing the "Twinkling Stars" and "all my friends away from me" distances should never separate us...
