Last night I had a terrible dream
Without a stop I continued to scream
A deadly monster was in my proximity
With it I never had any enmity
It was tearing my every part to pieces
And burning them one by one into ashes
The ashes rose and spread with the wind
My departed soul was watching it astound
I thought I was still screaming
I realized I was just miming
Suddenly then, I woke up with a jolt
Sweat on my forehead I then felt!
What was it and what had happened?
An experience of reaching my life’s dead end
I started to think! I tried to recollect the origin of it all
My greed was the monster and the reason for my fall
My desire to acquire everything that I don’t need
Occupied my mind and in my sleep began to knead
In reality now I burnt my desire completely into ash
Slipped back into sleep for the rest of the night in peace.
