The air seems to be still,
The December night is calm,
My story appears to reel
Around a lass quite lonesome.
Delving deep into herself
She finds a burning feeling
Scorching her wounded soul
Having no sign of healing.
In fresh memories of her lost love
She sheds tears of anguish,
“God, please give me back my love”
Is all she has to wish.
Her shattered heart grieves in pain,
Her world is empty now,
But she can’t bear this anymore,
She wants him back somehow.
She loathes living without him,
She yells, she sobs, she screams,
She scratches herself allover
With the pieces of her broken dreams.
