it's a birthday celebration, revealing,
under all the excitement, a reliable event;
within the mythical elements, a real gem,
the sort that gleams through centuries of time
and remains undiminished in radiance sent.
Greet everyone, a Merry Christmas! You cannot
be wrong - and they know it: the future can seem,
increasingly, a spectre of calamity --
that the mention alone of Christmas will thwart!
So keep at it all day, all season, use it well;
