Water runs off skin,
Ready to join stream,
River and Sea,
Passion flows,
And neither can escape,
All is ours,
Everything,
That's why we're here...surely?
Removed from beauty,
Fenced in by greed,
Emotions look to canyon,
Such a long way down?
Knowing to leap, is to fall,
Yet courage can support,
Faced danger....always ahead,
What other is the option?
All is still here...
Nothing has changed,
Neither you nor I,
Remembered childhood,
When clear to see,
Easier to understand,
But control shapes destiny,
As caged bird,
Listens to dawn chorus,
Sometimes joining in,
Instinct so hard to kill,
Yet removed from life,
Its presence forever undermined,
As oceans taste of salt,
Sadness flavours the tear,
And hope forever.....will die last.
