Whilst on my computer today,
Sending an email,
A pop up came onto my screen,
A three inch square advertisement,
A guy is going up and down
Make believe stairs sitting on a chairlift?
He disappears up, then returns down,
He's strapped in....looks around 30 years old?
The chair finally stops,
And settles at the bottom,
He's waving at me now?
Caught in a loop of waves and smiles,
The add had a button to click, which says "Meet Steve"
He's a chairlift engineer,
I didn't want to meet him'
But I "clicked" anyway.
I now have someone coming around,
To measure my stairs,
Apparently the right hand turn,
At the top could be problematic,
But Steve has assured me,
I should have enough knee room.
So.......its finally happened,
I've taken my parents advice,
And started to plan for the future. |
