From a mountain region,
High up in the steep precipice,
A stream rushes down,
With a murmuring, hissing tone;
The valley far down,
Presents a gruesome spectacle,
As the stream widens,
To a rapid flow,
Down below,
Thundering its way down,
As a rapid in anger,
Leaping down,
In a tumultuous uproar,
Heard for miles down,
In the valley,
Sweeping as a roaring rapid,
The current rushes forward,
Like a rogue,
On a rainy season. |
