Theme: Loneliness

Forlorn

Lying on my easy chair
I delve into myself,
A sip of hot coffee gushes through my throat,
My heart burns with blisters of my past,
Sorrows are the only possessions I have!

Your repeated negligence and avoidance,
Your recurrent lying makes me traumatized.
With time I have lost all my faith on you,
Forlorn at 28, what will happen when I turn 82?

Abandoned by love, I loathe surviving,
A life without love is a life wholly wasted,
No more do I believe in the tricks you play
Your love has already taken me astray.

Fate has mocked at me with sheer disdain,
Offering me dark circles around my eyes,
Deprived of love, a sea of solitude gulps me,
I am nothing but a heartbroken, forlorn chi.

Comment is this a poem ..........or........truth?
If truth...then live for some golden memories which are layered down in your deep heart...sweety.......and keep yourself busy in anything positive....dear. Expression of Love is like a sudden rain but keeping footprints forever.

Comment Rupadra, take heart like a wave that again and again comes back... love too is a wave. It shall shower one day.
