Thanks Rupradha. This poem is the painful outcome of a real life instance of a woman physically abused by her husband regularly; unsupported by her insensitive and selfish parents and maligned by her in-laws ! A women with two small childen who helplessly witnessed this daily cruelty meted out to their mother; a society that mutely witnessed this drama and a government that pays only lip service to women in distress.
