Brazen and pitiless, dazzling all day
Unkind, played many ruses your ray
Parched loam surrendered its say
Stealing her charm, you failed her in fray
Bushed and worn out you nearly bled
In your wrath turned horizon red
Rightly guzzled you brine so deep
Soothing seared soils as you sleep
Blessed nocturnal skies golden mist
Like a dream, appeared for his tryst
Drained earth longed for his touch
Loved and caressed free from your clutch
Entwined in unison of nocturnal bliss
Earth and her charmer endlessly kiss
Peeped put from nowhere silver strands
In dark blue maze as her charmer stands
“Time to go” he whispered and vanished
Left behind his beau anguished
Cried he too, leafs seized his tears
Melted them your garishness, asked “who cares”?
Brazen and pitiless you begin your day
I wonder is it your real way?
You love her dearly, I am insistent
Shy of words you remain so resistant |
