Theme: Gratitude

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, long, long ago,
A sweet lil boy came into this world.
Named He, shy he was to be,
His eyes twinkled, his hair curled.

He grew up on video games, cricket he loved,
Never did he miss a chance to play.
Bowling was his strength,
At least that's what he did say!:)

School, college and then a job,
Life was moving as it was meant to.
Then came the time to find 'THE ONE' and get married,
Along with it the question, "NOW what to do??"

Once upon a time, long, long ago,

A sweet lil girl came into this world.
Named She, talkative she was to be,
Her eyes did twinkle but hair didn’t curl.

Books she had many, reading her passion,

The Casio she loved to play.
She grew up dreaming her dreams,
Hoping to live them someday.

School, college and a host of other things,
Life was moving as it was meant to.
Then came the time to find 'THE ONE' and get married,
Along with it the question, "NOW what to do??"

Time for destiny to play its part,
And then He and She met.
They just went along with the flow,
Not knowing what to expect.

From strangers they became friends,
Friendship soon blossomed into love.
They knew they were meant to be together,
As did the One, up above.

Wasn’t long before they were married, it was total bliss,
They stepped into a world of their own.
Love, care, understanding and sharing,
Of these all the seeds were sown.

He scrubbed the dishes (only Fridays!), she cooked the food,
He cleaned a room and she the rest.
Together they made their house into a home,
They loved it--it was better than the best.

Years would come and years would go,
With them would come joy and sorrow.
Through it all they promised to be together,
And work towards a better tomorrow.

For me, dear, you're all I got,
All I ever dreamed and wished for.
I know I'll live my dreams with you by my side,
You are my bright, shining star!

You let me be my own person,
Gently guiding me in your own sweet way.
You cared for me, you were kind and patient,
Without you I'd drift away!

I knew my prayers were answered,
The day you came into my life.
I thank the Lord Almighty,
For making me your wife.
