history rewritten
hail the heroes!
Team India,
a mini nation men of all hues,
many tongues;
talent and modesty blended well
hail the heroes!
Plethora of problems,
corruption, covert operators---
beleaguered nation breathes afresh
hail the heroes!
One nation, one slogan,
World Cup bound us all
may the spirit lead us all---
hail the heroes!
