A strong wind blew across the park
Taking with it a cloud of yellow petals
Which scattered to form a yellow carpet
Some settled on her head like confetti
She remembered her own wedding day
When she walked under artificial arches
With a groom who was artificial too, for
He left a few years after the ceremony
She now treaded very gently not wanting
To damage the petals lying on the ground
