His Tale

A cloud enveloped him
He was almost invisible
Drenched in his sorrows
He wanted to stay that way

A few mornings later
The sun came out again
The cloud cleared quickly
He had shrunk in misery

His family and close friends
Had really no clue as to why
He wanted to stay cocooned
From the world in general

He was generally quite affable
His behaviour seemed strange
The mystery gradually unfolded
He had joined the unholy league

The newspapers carried articles
About his complicity in a scam
He felt he had covered his tracks
But obviously not well enough!!
